Aid Alert is a new initiative to investigate and expose fraud in foreign aid. It is currently under development and will be launched with a brand new website and steering group in mid-2011. Here is a provisional short mission statement:
Aims and objects
The Aid Alert Foundation will:
- raise public awareness of fraud and corruption in foreign aid
- investigate and expose foreign aid fraud wherever it is found
- give a voice to aid recipients, concerned professionals and whistleblowers
